Ruminating On Rumi

As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.

Still Standing

Standing in qigong this morning
Joy permeating this very being
Mind stilling, soft and gentle,
as a wild animal resting
behind a decaying fallen tree

All alive and vibrant,
nurturing and nurtured

Morning sun streams through the french doors, warms hands, torso
Rainbow fairies fly from their crystal home, dance and play
Gaze out, a vision, the reflection of the window, mind's eye sees only body and hands
Instead bamboo in the garden, flexible yet steady, frames body and replaces head. Inner wisdom.
The Beloved.
